What a total Crackpipe. MSRP is $102K and for something that looks that Ricey? Sure “Track edition” and what not but it’s practically unchanged from 2015- which you can get used examples under $40K
I can buy two
C8 Corvettes for that money!

I am sitting next to someone who works at that dealer right now. I showed them this post.
They laughed.

If they find the right sucker I’m sure they’ll be laughing all the way to the bank.

As an aside

Someone is going to buy this stupid overpriced RC-F and raise the hopes of car dealers everywhere

Actually they laughed because they share your sentiment and agree that car has too much ‘market adjustment’ added to it. And had already made mention of this very car last night at dinner by mocking it.

Holy shit for USD that’s brutal. That’s even higher than the sticker + tax&delivery for one in Canadian dollars.
One thing I am curious about, though, is that the Track package removes the torque vectoring differential. I guess a “regular” LSD takes its place? . I would have thought that the TVD would have been better for performance. Plus it takes away luxuries like the heated/vented seats and heated steering wheel (which is a nice thing to have in Canada).

CP to the maxxxx. The regular RC-F is forgettable, not to mention a pig. I dont see anyone buying this. Honestly. Who’s this for? If I walk into a Lexus dealer wanting to spend 6 figures I’m getting an LS or LC.

I’m not saying this car will ever appreciate, however at a run of 60 cars for the entire year of 2020 it’s guaranteed to be exclusive and rare. You absolutely cannot say that about the c8, with the amount of people looking at that car it will be common in two years and no one will care that you have one. I believe Ferrari and Lamborghini have proven leveraging exclusiv ity and limited production runs are a great tool for raising car prices.

Is it just me or does the RC-F have a very mid-aughts Celica GT vibe, especially in side profile?
